Performance
From a performance perspective, the 2022 Cayenne and the 2023 version are similar. Several powertrains are offered. The base Cayenne is available with a 334-horsepower, turbo V6 system. There is also a plug-in hybrid version of this V6 engine that extends 455 total horsepower. A 434-horsepower, 2.9-liter turbo, six-cylinder engine is an option for more power. Two other turbo V8 systems are available that produce 453 horsepower and 541 horsepower. The top engine is a plug-in hybrid turbo V8 system that generates 670 combined horsepower.
Appearance
Your continued review of the 2022 and 2023 Cayenne reveals that the latest version has been restyled across the interior and exterior. The new look sports teardrop-like LED headlights with a cascading slope through the hood. The nose is perfectly rounded with horizontal bars crossing three distinctive sections. The roof trends flatly into a liftgate spoiler, and the liftgate is slightly angled to provide more interior cargo space. The smooth sides are brought to life with lower-body definition.
